Dearest Reader,
Welcome to March! The month of fresh starts, new goals, and most importantly, women.
First off, let me apologize for sneaking into your inbox a day later than usual. Blame it on the terrible network and these new mobile tariff plans that are stretching my patience (and my pocket). If you’ve also been feeling the sting, just know you’re not alone!
But let’s not let bad network steal our shine—there’s something big happening this month.
It’s International Women’s Day season, and this year’s theme, Accelerate Action, a bold call to push boundaries and challenge the status quo. Women all over the world are achieving incredible milestones, proving that glass ceilings were never meant to last.
Take this for example: For the first time in 60 years, an all-woman crew will be heading beyond Earth’s atmosphere on Blue Origin’s next New Shepard flight. Six women—Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Kerianne Flynn, and three others—will embark on an 11-minute mission beyond the Kármán line, 62 miles above Earth. No pilots, no men—just six women making history!
Now, whether you’re a man or a woman reading this, the message is clear: Representation matters. Visibility matters. When we see people who look like us breaking barriers, it fuels our belief that we can do the same. And that’s exactly what this flight symbolizes—rewriting the narrative of who gets to explore, lead, and innovate.
And this lesson applies everywhere—whether in science, business, or even our personal lives. Seeing people who look like us, dream like us, and win like us makes all the difference. It fuels belief. It fuels ambition. It reminds us that our dreams—no matter how big—are valid.
Now, let’s bring it back home for a second. As freelancers, entrepreneurs, and career professionals, we know what it feels like to push boundaries daily. But let’s be real—freelancing is not for the faint of heart. The waiting game for clients, the ghosted proposals, the dry spells—it’s a rollercoaster. If you’ve ever stared at your inbox waiting for that “Congrats, you got the gig!” email that never came, trust me, you’re not alone.
But here’s the good news—I’ve been testing some solid hacks to land more gigs, and in the next edition, I’ll be spilling all the details. No fluff, just strategies that work.
So stay tuned, keep pushing your limits, and let’s make this month count. Wishing you a productive and fulfilling week ahead!
Cheers to making moves, breaking limits, and—hopefully—better network service.
